Well, I don't know that he needs much introduction.  This was painted for a commission (and my client seemed quite pleased).

Anyway, I've posted him up on Coolmini, if anyone cares to vote.

Don't get me wrong, I HATE Eldar (or just about anything not Chaos) but I smiled a little when I saw that mini. You should be proud, exceptional work, one of your best, have some karma!  beer

Thank you.  I hope that I've alleviated your hatred towards all things Eldar for only a moment, so you can get back to eating their souls properly.

For a moment, but it's gone now, lol. I'd actually not payed that much attention to the base when I first saw that mini, but I'm glad I looked again, because the base is awesome. That might be the coolest Eldar mini I've seen, at least in the top 3. Everything about it works man. beer

Beautiful peice dude!   That is by far one of my most favorite forgeworld peices and you certainly managed to do it justice.  + Karma dude.

You know, I've actually run across a number of people who don't care for the mini.  Having looked at it up close (and having done the same with Citadel's Avatar) I've got to say that I'm quite impressed.

That said, I can understand someone wanting to play a mini that he might be able to hide better, since this guy is guaranteed to attract a lot of heavy firepower.

yeah but the GW mini hardly does the avatar justice..  The FW one is just amazining.  Ya sure its a bit of a fire magnet and all but Im no power gamer either, I would want people to see it and I want them to be afraid.

I'm of the same mind. Why would you try to hide something so badass, seems a bit cowardly. Same goes for the Greater Daemons, the GW suck, but FW ones rock, even though they are bigger.

Exactly, and power house characters dont win games anyway..   If it attracts attention away from everything else all the better..  I rather have all their big guns aimed at ONE big target rather then ALL of my transports.  The whole slight of hand thing, is suppose to very Eldar anyway right??? lol

Oh, I totally agree with you guys.  But I'm not always a very practical gamer.  I tend to like to put GW minis on larger bases so that they can be made more scenic (I've done this with my Movie Marines and with most of a client's Salamanders force).

But honestly, I love a badass mini that can't hide, and the fire drawn for a character that only cost around 100 points is great (or is the Avatar 150?  still worth the distraction).
