hey all, vorro, your local rumourmonger here with some pics of the Island of Blood models. youve probably seen a few of these before now though i thought id collect them from the various websites so you can all drool over them together.

before i get to the pics ill just say whats in the box:

High Elves

  • 5 illyrian reavers

Skaven

  • 2 rat ogres

I've been following the rumours and the revelation of it only being 10 seaguard is a bit of a downer. Thats not to say its not a nice set sculpt wise, but I'm just a bit underwhelmed. 

Then again it's not like I ever play WFB anyway...

that griffon is a bit tastey too...here's hoping that the elf ain't too hard to remove and replace with an empire mini :p

just noticed the elf infantry (sea guard and swordsmasters) ahve had their standard bearers mixed up...

though i have to say those rat ogres look so cool. heres hoping one of the 2 rumoured new plastic kits for the skaven wave 2 release next year is a new box of rat ogres... so cool!

OK!  I reckon I'll have to get the box. Griffon is nice (VC Abyssal Whatchamacallit), and the rat ogres will make good Chaos Spawn.  I'll sell the rest of the Elves to Lord Marcus, and put the other Rats on FleaBay.  The Rulebook, I'll keep.  It's a win-win situation.
