wait a minute, we need to clarify this one as well. all non nob, non boss orks are boys, so you mean just 4 mobs of orks and the rest gretchin and vehicles and stuff?

Ok, just the Mobs of Nobz are excluded. Also, Mega nobz are excluded. Squad Nob upgrades are allowed.

Maximum of 4 Squads of Ork Boyz as Troops (so to take 6 troops you will need to take gretchen.

i know it may seem very odd to have a mek in a list without any vehicles, but i quite liked the idea of a bunch of boyz being led on the hunt for their fuirst load of looted vehicles and parts by grotsnik who wants to improve the boyz with the help of a big mek!

the basic plan would be to divide them up into 3 blocks, 2 roughly equal blocks moving down each flank then inwards, and a third block holding back a little to either secure a deployment zone objective, or to swarm in at as support.

30 boyz w/slugga choppa, nob w/power klaw 10 cyborks (265/515)
30 boys w/shoota, nob w/ big choppa, 3 big shoota, 10 cyborks (260/775)

looted wagon w/boomgun and red paint job (110/1,850)

the idea is to deploy the boyz squads inner mixed to give cover saves. and shots that would ignore cover would negate that would fall back on my invulernable save. The tankbusta squads can run around the board in there trukks launching gobs of rockets, go open topped. the boomgun is there just to make my opponents think about what vehicle there will shoot.

I'm picking the list of Word Bearers as his seems quite deadly (more so than the others)

I'd like to see some tactics for it though.

tatics for the  list are fairly simple.

you deploy the 2 HQ's with the slugga choppa boys. then you deploy the shoota and slugga squads intermeshed. in doing so you have one giant squad of 61 orks, basically. any fire that is thrown at the squad of boys will in turn cause you to take a 4+ cover save against the fire do to the squads being obscured by other models. I know it's cheesy but it allows you to run across the board unhindered. then of course you can have the shoota boyz lay into the squad along with the slugga's before the charge. the cybork bodies are there just to give you a save against any of those pesky CC attackes that don't allow armor saves.

the real fun comes fromt the 2 tankbusta squads zzippen across the field 13 inches then laying out 24 Str8 AP3 attacks. you have to kill vehicles if they are present, but if not they can lay serious pressure on power armour models. against anything less than a landraider you should have alot of fun rolling dice of death. against a armour 14 model you can at least get the single glance each turn.

the looted wagon is really there just for crowd control. if it dies it's not a big loss, if it lives it lobs decent fire power across the field each turn.

overrall there is no reason why the meat of the army can't get into close combat and sever your opponent's defense as well as utilizing the large amount of dakka that is in the list as well

You can't put cybork bodies on just some of the boyz. It's all or none in each unit.
